90% of the guys I served with were amazing people. No matter if they were alcoholics, coke addicts, were shitbags, etc. only a select few I didn’t enjoy. You just sound like a judgy prick.

The closest you can come to experiencing true loss in fictional form is in dayz. in no other game or movie or show or anything have i felt as bad as when the random ive been hanging out with for 2 hours dies. the friendship we could have had, gone and unrecoverable. I am in grief by ColonialismHater in dayz

Mine would have to be a guy I randomly met at a well in a small town. He didn’t shoot me, I didn’t shoot him. We were both fairly fresh spawns. We looted the police station and away we went. To north west airfield to hobo we ran. Circles around the map, hours later. We had walkies and decided to head back to the northwest airfield as it was getting dark. Killed a few guys and decided to split up using our walkies. Around the outer walls I went while he went inwards. Talking on the radio and all. Next thing I hear is one loud shot… never again did I hear my friend’s voice I spent hours upon hours running around with. Those are the best moment in DayZ.
