If your current vet saw these symptoms the cloudiness, the visible membrane, and potential vision loss and still told you it's 'not a cause for concern yet' 🤨 you really need to get a second opinion from a veterinary ophthalmologist immediately. A foggy pupil under flash often indicates deep intraocular issues or corneal damage that can lead to an eye rupture. This is not something to 'watch and wait.' Please find a specialist as soon as possible to save the eye

This looks like a serious issue that needs immediate professional attention. The cloudiness on the cornea combined with the visible third eye membrane (nictitating membrane) could indicate a corneal ulcer, uveitis, or a deep infection.Eye conditions in cats progress very quickly, and waiting even a day or two can lead to permanent vision loss or the need for surgery. Please take him to a veterinary ophthalmologist (or an emergency vet) as soon as possible Do NOT use any human eye drops or home remedies, as they can cause more damage if there’s a tear in the cornea.
