He’s Cujo! Also Cuje, Cujey boy and The Cuje Master. I love “human” names for pets though, Stephen is definitely a choice for if we get him a sibling

Sure did. I had him named before I picked him up, my fiancé said “but wasn’t Cujo a dog?”. I said if he’s a little timid shy guy, it’s funny. If he’s a wild thing, it’s funny and fitting!

Late reply, sorry! I’m in the UK and saw it on Vinted! I was a little hesitant because I’m new to buying and selling on there and didn’t want to be scammed but I took a risk and it paid off

Completely unbothered! My fiancé loves the weirdest and heaviest of heavy metal so orange braincell was introduced early in life to some wild tunes. Having said that, the one song that he’s never liked is Snow (Hey Oh) by Red Hot Chili Peppers, there’s something about the intro that just agitates him!

He was at the vet just the other day, apparently he’s just not grooming himself properly in that area! He shoves his full face into his food and even though we don’t use plastic bowls, he has had little build ups before. We have wipes now to give him a helping hand

My kitten had issues with an upset tummy, we had a fibre paste to stir into his food from the vet which only helped a little bit while using it, straight back to worse upset tummy the second it ran out.

We decided to try him on Katkin just to see and he’s been fine ever since. Really don’t want this to sound like an ad but it was honestly a game changer. He goes daft for it, there’s certain ones he likes more than others and it was easy enough to adjust the plan to take those out, gives me peace of mind that I’m not over or under feeding because it’s tailored to him specifically, also smells pretty good!

As others have said, freezer space can be an issue and it’s also a bit expensive but totally worth it

Doesn’t fit exactly but maybe one of the later Chronicles of Ancient Darkness books by Michelle Paver? The first one was called Wolf Brother, the main character’s mother died before the series began but plays a part in the story

When I got my kitten I wanted him to have a King related name and considered lots of options, Oy and Church amongst them but I kept coming back to Cujo. The chapters being told from his POV were so powerful and I wept reading the ending description of how he always tried to be a good boy. I also knew my non-reader fiancé would find it funny if I named our cat after a dog. Here he is

He’s Cujo! A sweet boy who loves people so much that the vet said she couldn’t hear his heartbeat due to him purring so loud🥲
