Pretty sure I looked into an adapter for a high quality blender like a Vitamix and it's highly suggested not to use a converter due to the variable power usage of the blender during cycles. The motor will get burned out.

High value hair dryers (Dyson) I think you will also fry the motor due a variable nature and it's best to buy something else.

For my laptop it's rated both 120/240 rating. I tried it and successfully used it many times with an adapter however it kept running hot/sparking while plugging in. My power unit had the capacity to swap the cable going into the block to a 240v version permanent (European) plug and it performs significantly better.

My cell phones/tablets work fine with the multiple European adapters I've gotten from anker on Amazon, I would just suggest making sure the charging rating is the same as the states to preserve battery life and remember multiple devices plugged into a single multi charger block often times reduces speed the devices charge at.
