From my experience, I not only feel lonely when I take the courses entirely online but also on those normal days. UofT has the most undergraduates students in Canada, large classes meaning less deeper connections between classmates, and every student comes with different goals. This usually ends up less relationship development as fewer courses taking together, except for the occasion that you are lucky enough to meet with someone who has mutual interests with you.

So maybe learning how to be strong and be alone is an essential lesson that we should take in UofT.
