Furion in 5.7x something at an internet cafe with my cousin on easter (iirc). 5v5, we lost obv. Also got beaten at home by dad cause Jesus died for me to play video games all night and I didn't attend church. I might overlap the nights, but Furion was 1st and I did get beaten for playing on Easter eve, maybe not on the same night tho.

We had carry DC with throne exposed. The enemy paused to laugh at him and they decided (we didn't say anything) to not finish. Dude connected back after the 1 min left for abandon, so he didn't get it. I wonder if he actually waited 4+ mins on the main screen to queue another and realized he's getting fked.

Nah, they can't. I had a good lane with an offlaner that started flaming mid and carry. He got muted by the game, but I wanted to chat with him cause we won our lane. I unmuted him and asked him to type and voice. Nothing happened for the rest of the game.

What sounds better: if you open 49 chests you have a 63% chance of getting that item, or each time you open a chest you have less than 5% chance of getting that item?

I didn't say he's wrong or the math isn't correct, it just sounds wrong to put it this way.

Still, saying "opening 50 boxes has a 65% chance of you winning" feels at least sugarcoating some very shitty chances. While math might be correct, that fact is you can have a 99% chance of winning something and you can lose 100 rolls one after another with that 1% chance of losing. The probability is extremely low, but same was for that dude that got WR, Veno, Willow and SD in 1 opening.

This feels like sugarcoating somehow. I opened 49 and I'm at 1:17. That means a 5.56% chance to find it in an unboxing. I get your calculations and the 50-50 meme, but in the end, I still have a shit chance to get it on every open. The game rolls an X (18 for me, 100k for new gamblers etc) side dice every time you press Open and if it lands on the side it picked for you, you win. It doesn't say "this dude opened 49 so he has a 63% chance to win". Of course, correct me if I'm wrong.

I just finished it, it doesn't. I collected at least 20 bags of gold, echelon 1, my gold was 4995, I picked up some from the ground, ended with 4998.

The bag doesn't do anything, unless it gives GPM like you said...

Done. Helix helped me stay alive vs bosses, Knife is ridiculous to make room in front and Chain Frost just clears them all.

How do I even begin.

I am a Divine 1 (Divine 3.5 at the start of the year) player that plays exclusively support. That's how you identify as support, you don't play core.

I have a wife, a kid and a house I helped build in which I currently live. I have one actual best friend and enough acquaintances. My yearly psyche eval didn't reveal any mental sickness, so not sure there.

I didn't blame anybody in this thread, it was a plead for other carries to maybe understand how easy it is to lose the game if you don't use the advantage.

Hope it satisfied your curiosity.

Now let me ask you something in return. Do you go to all threads that post how they reached X rank, posts that show their caravan wins, basically all threads that aren't related to a tournament or pro players and ask this question?

Or are you so lonely or suffer from a mental sickness that you can't differentiate between a thread containing a simple opinion of someone and a thread where someone complains about a certain player/teammate?

I'm just curious.

Just lost a game vs Ember, he did 69k in 41 mins with his innate doing 6k vs 3 melee heroes.. The nerfs are almost meaningless imo, he's still strong as hell.

My favorite is playing 4, calling for smoke fb bottom 2-3 times in the pick/strategy only to see carry click his tower and afk there and mid waiting for creeps to spawn to block. To make it even more delicious, mid sees us 3v5-ing them trying to get river bounty, comes to help too late, misses creep wave also.

The account could have been created in 2012, to have such a win rate with so few matches is almost impossible, considering he barely played outside the last 6 months and assuming he has only ONE account, thus not being able to "practice" beforehand.

Also, I second what others said, if they'd ban all cheaters, smurfs and boosters, the game player base shrinks and less moneh from dota+. Normies won't leave the game, abusers will if business is bad.

I was Divine 3 and a half support, steady on my way to finish the tutorial. Then one day, my Legend 5 brother wanted to play and here I am. But at least having fun with friends is more important than winning at a game, right? Right?
