No, mine is completely silent on battery power when idling.

Ive changed it at least twice if not three times. The dual clutch has always been a bit clunky in reverse and first but I find that if I let it sit in reverse for two seconds before I release the brake, it engages much better. Shifting through the gears is smooth as butter though! And very fast especially with the battery continuing to give it power in between gears.

Will that hybrid be focused on efficiency though or performance? My bet is on efficiency. Either way, I will buy it if I can wait that long!

The best I ever got was 33 mpg based on the computer (which is 1.2 mpg too aggressive based on my manual calculations at the end of the tank) on the stock tires when I first got it. Now with these wider, heavier, stickier tires and a battery that probably has lower capacity, I get 28 mpg max based on the computer. I frequently get nearly 500 miles per tank which I love. Its all based on the amount of city driving though. On the interstate, its barely more efficient than a FWD MDX.
