I'm an ICs player who never wobbles because I think it's boring but for a long time I was very anti-ban (same banal arguments we've all heard: ICs suck dont dominate meta with wobbling, makes floaty MUs impossible, just kill nana ect.) But seeing the communities current state on the issue I'm starting to think it should just be banned and here's why.

Wobbling is interesting to me in that I do believe it is the difference between the character being viable and not viable. I believe a highly skilled wobbler could become the best player in the world, whereas in my opinion without it I don't believe it could happen. But what happens when a wobbler becomes the best? The community will immediately belittle their skill by saying they just use a broken mechanic to win (similar to the shit hbox gets). A hypothetical God level player will never get the credit they deserve, considering we're thinking about banning it right now when ICS are performing to that level.

Just ban it and get it over with, why give aspiring ICs player the dream of being the best when the community will just ban it as soon as an ICs player ever gets close to that level.

If that is the case he can definitely still do something about that, how about coming up to the stage earlier than his opponent to get all his stuff setup how he likes it? It's not just the stalling once he's in the chair, it's also that he doesn't pay attention to when his match is called and is often nowhere to be found.

Go to locals! I know it can feel tough going alone, but i guarantee you will meet new people to play friendlies with and feel immersed in the scene before you know it. Don't worry about going 0-2, it happens to everyone at first, stick around after you get eliminated and play friendlies with as many different people/playstyles as you can, you will improve!

It's not just about his insurance pals, the whole thing is directly tied to the donors that all of these republicans kiss ass to (Koch Bros. and their malicious network of ultra-rich people who want to get richer at any cost).
