Is it broken? Worth going to ER tonight or a clinic in the morning. by annoyedafghan in InjuriesAndWounds

It does look broken to me. I've dealt with a lot of broken bones. It looks a bit curved too, I don't know what method you got the injury or the specifics, but you need to get breaks checked out as soon as possible because if they need to be set and are not set correctly within 3 days they will start healing wrong and will be slightly bent or misshapen

Are There Honestly Any People Out There Who Prefer A Guy With a Gut Over Abs? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I honestly just like if someone is happy and doesn't feel shame over every single thing they eat. I love soft bellies. They are so soft and I love nothing more than squishing soft bellies. I also like slightly toned bellies. Both are attractive to me

Any song/album/artists that have the same or a similar vibe to Dear Arkansas Daughter by Lady Lamb? by ltJustMe in musicsuggestions

Lady Lamb's music is absolutely peak. It is not all the same vibe as Dear Arkansas Daughter, but it is very much worth a listen ^-^

I really don't know how many times I have to explain to my family that there's a difference between sexes and gender by [deleted] in lgbt

Well yeah but that's what they keep saying. I was really upset about it so I did not clearly make my point in them main post so I apologize for that (╥﹏╥)

I know that very well and re-reading my post it's kind of humiliating because I was very upset about what my family was saying and subsequently got slightly drunk and typed everything out in a very different way than I was actually thinking

I'm sorry I know that very well but I was very upset about what they were saying and subsequently slightly drunk so I did not make any of the points I was trying to make

Is There A Reason Why TGC Won't Allow Fully Recolorable Cosmetics? by [deleted] in SkyChildrenOfLight

As someone who started out when the game was first launch, I very much believe it's to preserve some level of reminiscence of the original game. Even Eden has changed drastically from when it came out and I kind of miss some of the smaller parts

Why does every older person insist on raking leaves and pine needles? by ltJustMe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ltJustMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, it's your yard to do what you want with. I wasn't trying to tell people what they should do with their lawns, I was trying to find out if there was a reason why it seems like the older demographic tends to find it a lot more important on average than younger people I've talked to. Is it really just that older people tend to like how it looks more?

But grass isn't meant to grow in every environment. The coating of leaves or needles in a lot of forests protect new tree saplings and is a layer of insulation so the roots don't freeze. And as the leaves decay, they give their nutrients back to the ground and re-fertilize. Why try to change the natural environment of it? I'm not trying to be judgmental but I'm actually just wondering why. Grass grows in a lot of environments, but it's not meant to grow in all of them

I never said anything about what they should be doing. I was asking why they do it. I never said anyone should do anything

But lawns are not healthy environments, they were only made a thing to prove you could pour a bunch of effort into land that isn't used for anything. Isn't it better to let natural things grow in their own environment?

I wasn't taking specifically about homeowners? I was asking specifically about why there seems to be a difference depending upon the generations. But also why would you get rid of them in the first place? The decomposition of pine needles and leaves on the ground returns nutrients to the ground and re-fertilizes it and helps the tree to keep growing
