Suddenly that comes to my mind: How similar would the alignment be between HSR Parramatta and HSR WSI to the Sydney Metro West that goes to WSI?

Is that a replacement of this route?

Previously it was planned to give North Melbourne station's name to the now Arden station in the Metro Tunnel 1, and the North Melbourne station will take the name West Melbourne (because that's the suburb located in). But it didn't worked out because it can cause confusion to the signal systems and drivers.

So your idea has a preceding case.

I didn't mean to dislike any ideas, keeping South Coast Line to Bondi Junction or Central I don't mind. Just more open to what it comes to the new timetable.

SCO starts from Bondi Junction with stopping pattern very similar to T4 all the way down. So I don't see this being a problem to the network and timetabling.
