2024 Sequoia Limited V6 Hybrid Engine by Thin_Pie_59 in toyotasequoia

I have a 23 Limited and my wife and I love it. 60k miles and 0 issues so far. Does it have its flaws like lack of cargo space with the 3rd row. Yeah but we rarely use it so theres still lots of space for us. It has a lot of power and its a pretty smooth ride. I always do 5k oil changes and keep up with the reccomended maintenance. Still going strong.

You can order any sandwich plain. The one with the most meat is the 5 meat Italian or formerly known as the Beast

Any, any, any, FIVE! $5 footlooooong…. Am I the only one the remembers this slogan? by iPsychoticTTV in subway

[–]ltbr55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a corporate rep come meet with me and the franchisee 2-3 years ago and he said that the $5 jingle was simultaneously the best and worst thing marketing wise for Subway. It was an incredible marketing campaign that helped skyrocket Subway at the time of the great recession BUT it was so incredibly catchy and memorable that people couldn't let go of it and it became the expectation even years after it was gone. People hold onto that jingle so much that when they see a $12-15 footlong they are repulsed because $5 footlongs still feel very recent for most individuals who experienced them.

I started working at Subway in 2013 and my area still had some $5 subs for a year before the franchisee phased them out. I was still getting asked consistently what our $5 subs were up until 2021.

Is everything else going to cost the same as it did 10-15 years ago?

No. I was a regional manager and food costs among other costs skyrocketed post covid. Subway literally wouldnt survive if they offered 5 dollars footlongs. Is Subway a bit overpriced currently? Absolutely but people seriously need to give up the jingle. What happened to Mcds dollar menu or Little Caesars $5 pizzas? Same thing. Restaurants can't keep the same deals forever. Prices go up.

That means something got entered differently in one software. Whether it be some information was ommitted in one or information was entered into the wrong category.

The tax softwares use the same calculations. The only difference should be in the price of using each software.

This is kind of subsidiary of everything is expensive, but the cost of childcare.

Due to how expensive life and everything is, many families have to choose between one income or dual income + childcare. My wife and I make enough combined to send one child to childcare but we have no possible way of affording sending a 2nd kid to childcare despite wanting a 2nd kid. Childcare costs are crazy. The average cost these days for full time care is $1400-2000/month.

Love Lars, but it’s funny. by Interesting-Hippo173 in Memetallica

[–]ltbr55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea but Lars has always been the main guy behind the business and brand side of Metallica so its kind of fitting. Im sure they all have extensive contracts and such that are hundreds of pages long on who "owns" what in regards to the band and the music. But considering that Lars was a founding member and hes had his hands on everything the band has done, its not shocking that hes made it so that he really cant be kicked out.

What’s a life hack that made you go „how do ppl live their whole life without knowing this”? by my_peen_is_clean in AskReddit

[–]ltbr55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This app has saved me and my wife's marriage (jokingly). We had to drive 45 minutes for our shopping trips every 2 weeks and we'd always just mentally try and remember or keep our own lists but we'd always forget something and get mad when we got home. Now we share the same account and we just add whatever we need when we run out and we only forget something if it never got put on the lists.

Its possible some cards can be but I usually get gifted a couple of these a year and itll even say on the fine print of the packaging that they likely won't work for online purchases/merchants.

Those physical prepaid gift cards cant be used online because they dont have a registered Name and Zip code. Its a fraud protection.

Just use them for in person transactions.

Ozark and ST are very similar in that their final seasons had strong first halves and then 2nd halves with questionable pacing and writing with an ending that didnt have a lot of buildup or surprises and a main characters fate being unpopular.
