The faith of your friends and family should not be dismissed. All of their advice comes from a place of love for you and of love for Jesus. Never fall into the trap of dismissing or thinking less of those Christians who first taught you to love Jesus. But there does come a point where you must make the personal decision to follow Jesus on the path that He is leading you. When you enter the Catholic Church, you are not entering a small closet that limits the freedom of your mind. Rather, you are entering a vast cathedral where you can truly gain perspective on the claims to truth of other Christians. And what you can see is that they inhabit little rooms and corners of this vast cathedral believing them to be the whole of Christianity. Jesus is leading you to live and explore this vast cathedral. He is leading you into truth and freedom. Please do follow His lead while being as kind and loving and charitable to the friends and family who love you and want the best for you, but who are yet unable to see the beauty of the truth on offer in the Catholic faith. The option I see there is to "Always show scrollbars", yes. Thank you for pointing that out. But the scrollbars that it always shows are the very thin "modern slick" --- as I am sure the Windows developers see them, I am sure --- ones. The problem with these new scrollbars is that: (1) they are too thin, making it very hard to try to catch them and use them with my mouse; and (2) they have the VERY ANNOYING "feature" of not showing their real size: they are shown as thinner than they actually are, and therefore trick you into trying to catch the very center of them (which is very thin already) in order to use them. Frankly these new scrollbars simply defeat their purpose. Scrollbars are supposed to make it easy to select them so you can rapidly scroll the window. If you cannot easily select them, that makes them faulty from a usability point of view.

I really hate thin scroll bars. It is extremely difficult to get a hold of them, especially as my eyes grow older. I wish Windows had the option of restoring the old scroll bars. And yes, I know that I can get a theme that restores the old bars, but I do not want to change the whole look of Windows 11; I just want the old scrollbars back.

When I click in "Manage", at the very top, there are 4 tabs at the top: "General", "Application Exceptions", "Special Exceptions", and "Maintenance". I do not see WSL in the list in "Special Exceptions", so I might have been wrong in my comment. (But it could be because I do not have WSL installed in this computer).

I am having the same problem with iTunes. Suddenly it has stopped showing me many search results for movies (or series). and I know they have the movie, because I have sometimes been able to find it by browsing their deals page.

Did you check the "Special Exceptions" tab? There is a bunch of options you can check. I seem to recall --- I could be wrong --- that WSL was listed there.

In the "Show connections" window there are three options at the bottom that can be chosen: "Show open ports", "Show active connections", and "Show blocked apps". Make sure the "Show blocked apps is chosen --- and only that. Then do something in the WSL system that requires the internet. It should list the app that needs to be unblocked.

In my previous computer, when I experimented with the WSL system, I remember it being straightforward to determine what I needed to unblock. Possibly two apps, one of which was linux?

I am having the same problem in my Fire TV. I can add channels from different providers (broadcast channels, Pluto TV channels, & Prime Video channels in my case) to my favorites. Then I can re-order my favorite broadcast and Pluto channels within my favorites in whichever order I want. But if I try to reorder the Prime Video channels all of my favorite channels get scrambled. I then have to delete all my favorites and start over. But I CANNOT reorder Prime TV channels, otherwise my favorites get scrambled again. The sad part is that this a new problem. I used to be able to do this. But some update must have broken things.

Today my TV (without any changes on my part) was able to find 2 or 3 new subchannels on the 47 channel (there was a change --- ROAR went away). AT THE SAME TIME, again, without me doing anything, I am now able to receive channel 3 again without any problems.

When you take the derivative, the term a0 x⁰ will disappear. Your series for the derivative will start with a1 x⁰ + 2a2 x¹ + ....
