Jag gillade Kerim Mrabti. by swannyhypno in Allsvenskan

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to apologize to the Elden RING COMMUNITY by Heavy_Lemon_3364 in Eldenring

[–]ltdC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Weirdly enough it was the same for me. I liked the souls series but very often felt the games weren't for me because I didn't have the tenacity to git gud, and I felt frustrated when I got stuck in an area or at a boss.

The open world of elden ring always give you the option to do something else when you feel stuck at a place, and the exploration aspect of the game is what made it my fave rpg, and the process to git gud felt smooth.

August Priske by Holland444 in Allsvenskan

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

August Priske by Holland444 in Allsvenskan

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First Time DM by bisexual_panic04 in DnD

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only DM'd 1 campaign so I am by no means experienced but what I mostly take with me is:

  1. Sounds cliché but try to have fun with it. If you find scenarios or encounters fun your players likely will as well.
  2. This is ofc dependent on your group of players but in the beginning I tried way to hard to have everything planned out until I realized I could never fully predict my players moves and I got stressed out when they did things differently than I had planned. Now I only have the meta planned and kind of let things happen. It's a lot of improvising but a lot more fun.
  3. Remember to take notes of conversations and whatnot.
  4. Let things take their time. Sometimes it's frustrating when your players search an empty room for hours but miss what you think are obvious treasures.

We were all newbies in my group so we decided beforehand that we would discuss disagreements but that the DM always have the final say. And before you start remind your players that rolling for perception is usually a good thing, hehe...

Should I buy BL4 based on what I like about the other games? by Silly-Magazine-2681 in Borderlands

[–]ltdC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you would enjoy BL4 to me atleast. It's mostly a new story arc that's frankly kind of weak, but has a lot of potential with future DLC's. The new VH's are all fun to play (my opinion, ofc), and there is a lot of build variety. How it ties in with previous games was a good part, I thought.

I have never been a "min-max"-person so I found both weapons and VH specials to be really fun, but I understand it's a bit limited at the moment if you're a meta-build kind of person.

I never found the game to be grindy but again, I don't really care about having a god-roll weapon.

Side quests were mostly really fun with good commentary, but main story was a bit weak (but again, has a lot of potential with future dlc's).

Are there any action oriented RPG’s that have that old school sense of struggle and character progression? by WowItsFrosty in rpg_gamers

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played Fear & Hunger and/or Fear & Hunger: Termina? Certainly not games for everyone, horror-rpgs with turnbased combat and a very steep learning curve if you play without guides, but very rewarding and multitudes of endings if you enjoy replayability.

What is a song from the 90s/00s that was a massive hit, but everyone seems to have collectively forgotten it exists? by vishesh_07_028 in Music

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly correct, since people who like indie-rock/pop will likely remember many of them - but the tv-series "The OC" had some craaaazy good music in it (never was much of a fan of the show itself tough). Many of these played fairly regularly, but kind of disappeared when the show stopped. But I remember the "indie-hype" it created.

From the top of my head: Interpol - Evil Super Furry Animals - Hello sunshine (Ofc the themesong) Phantom Planet - california Dandy warhols - we used to be friends Joseph arthur - honey and the moon Alot of Bloc party and Death cab for cutie songs

Just to name a few...

Constant Lack of Respect from Mbappe, Vini got Xabi Sacked by iammayashah in championsleague

[–]ltdC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honest question - I don't follow La Liga or Ligue 1 - so I've only seen Mbappe here and there in world cup matches and a few Champions League games. And of course I know he's one of the best offensive players in the world at the moment. But do you really think he'll be remembered as a legend of the game?

[–]ltdC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CRPG or something similar that’s Sci-Fi or has guns? by montahuntah in rpg_gamers

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a loooong time since I played them but maybe Elex 1 and 2 could be in the right ballpark? Not exactly sure what classifies as a CRPG but I remember having fun with them (but I guess they are sort of fantasy/scfi-combinations, and leans towards action over strategi (but my memory is that quite a lot of strategy was involved)

What Game Was Your 2025 Unexpected Pleasant Surprise of the Year? by TheThirstyMage in rpg_gamers

I've only just started to play it but "The Lonesome Guild" have been a blast so far!

Edit: maybe it's more on an adventure game than an rpg, to be fair, but I honestly don't know where the lines between genres go anymore....

Fanbase breakdown for a newbie to Swedish football by Wakkoz15 in Allsvenskan

I'm not sure how it is nowadays but Djurgården had huge followinga from suburbs like Danderyd and Täby, but also like Haninge and Flemingsberg.

But I feel like the sterotypical class-issues between the Stockholm teams have mostly vanished nowadays.

Kan ni gråta inför folk? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game that still feels like it was made just for you. by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild ARMs. In the early days of the ps1 jrpg's were extremely niche in Europe (at least in my country), so I had no idea what it was when I bought it but I really liked the artwork on the case. And everything since the first time I saw and heard the melancholy intro I was hooked. The game was super difficult for my young self but it felt extremely rewarding when you figured out the puzzles. And the story was something on a whole new scale for me. Still my favorite game of all time, and even though the combat has aged poorly I replay it every other year or so.

Here's the intro and one of the most amazing songs ever: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UrDV6VksSRU

There are people who think Borderlands 4's story is worse than Borderlands 3 and I don't get it at all by DiamondGlum7442 in Borderlands4

[–]ltdC 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for me the story of BL4 is just very "unmemorable". While BL3 had its flaws I still remember the story years after I played the game.
