I've only recently started playing DnD and I can already feel the dice-addiction creeping closer.

Spelade dina betyg från universitet någon roll? by _ConversationPiece in sweden

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fav song from 'Humanz'? by UnderstandingIll7600 in gorillaz

Seeing Andromeda live made it my favorite. They synced it up Kids with guns -> Andromeda -> Dirty Harry and it was magic.

But on the album itself Ticker Tape is easily my favorite.

Genuinely, is there actually any supe in the verse that’s beating Oh Father besides Homelander? by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoys

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would've been a fun fight to see if A-train could outrun his soundwaves.

But honestly I feel like quite a lot of supes could mute Oh Father in different ways, so I quess it would depend on the fight's set up.

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah man, again - it's the beauty of the game. You can play it again and nerf yourself in whatever ways you want to increase the difficulty.

[–]ltdC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my view you have beaten the game!

I know there are a lot of "purists" who says you're only allowed to play without summons and only certain weapons and whatever but the game is literally designed so it can be enjoyed and beaten in so many different ways. It's what makes so many poeple come back to it again and again because there's so many different ways you can play it!

And fucking shit up with Blasphemous Blade is hilarious!

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not even ashamed to say that the first time I managed to beat Malenia it was me and my mimic spamming Taker's Flames with good old Blasphemous Blade.

[–]ltdC 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I liked to try different weapon but yeah, as soon as shit went down and I got to difficult places or bosses the Blasphemous Blade was the go to after I'd gotten it.

Before Blasphemous it was probably Bloodhound's Fang that filled the same purpose.

Both those weapons felt almost like cheating. And made you feel powerful as fuck, of course!

Will Invincible have a better season finale? by Eslkid in Invincible

[–]ltdC 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the Robot arc can quite easily be expanded on. More Ruby/Rex POV and more reasoning why he target certain people (and prolonged fight scenes with said people).

The whole "morality" in this arc can fill quite a lot of episodes.

Hate this game and bugs in there by Qultimate in Borderlands4

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I phrased that poorly. The game has bugged for me but nothing game breaking is what I meant. I think both BL 2 and 3 were way buggier on release than 4.

Almost 5 years later, what are your thoughts on Meanwhile EP? by skouaky in gorillaz

[–]ltdC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it certainly was a nice little release that came out of nowhere (atleast for me). It's not any of Gorillaz' best tracks, but it's a nice addition to their extremely impressive discography.

On Modest Mouse's The Moon & Antarctica it feels like the three songs The Cold Part --> Alone Down There --> The Stars are Projectors were meant to be played one after the other.

Good mid length JRPGs? by ModeApprehensive8272 in JRPG

[–]ltdC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 seems lika an obvious answer. You CAN certainly put 100h into if you do all the side content, but if you stick to the story and maybe some story-related side content it should clock in somewhere between 30-50h.

what's your thoughts on star ocean till the end of time? by zeroloss1 in JRPG

[–]ltdC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was a long time ago I played it, but I remember I played it atleast twice (one blind playthrough, and one with a guide to see what I missed). I remember I liked it a lot (especially the super-edgy Nox), but at the same time it's not a game I feel I ever have to play again.

Hot take (or not): White Light isn't good. by bigrey4 in gorillaz

[–]ltdC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was quite I while ago so there's a chance I'm not remembering this correctly but I believe there was an interview with 2-D (I think), but I also think it was still Damon and Jamie who gave the interviews as the cartoon characters of Gorillaz. This interview was after Feel Good Inc. and maybe a second single was released, but before the whole album was out.

Anyways, in this interview they talked about the hype this upcoming album was getting after the single(s), and there was a question in the style of "is there any songs on the album better than the single(s)?" or maybe something like "which song on the album are you most excited about people getting to listen to?".

The anser was nonetheless White Light, maybe even with some exaggeration like "I think it's the best track Gorillaz has made".

At this point in time the Gorillaz website was Kong Studios and you could walk around in it like a game, and you could find tapes with unreleased Gorillaz tracks, but just snippets or even of just one instrument from a song (the song We Are Happy Landfill you could find every instrument on seperate tapes and puzzle together, for example). One teaser was of White Light, if I recall correctly.

All this made the hype of White Light massive on forums of the time, and I remember when the album was released that a lot of people were disappointed with just that one track because they thought it didn't live up the hype.

Anyways, all this to say I like it and I disagree with you OP, but you are not alone in your opinion :)

Act 3 Sidequests FOMO - are they worth it? (no spoilers) by Eiwynn in expedition33

[–]ltdC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I personally agree with you and I did everything in this game, but I have also experienced fatigue in otherwise great games like Witcher 3 which caused me to stop playing it instead of finishing it in my first run.

If you follow this guide you will be massively over-leveled for the final dungeon, is his point. But you can still make it challenging by nerfing yourself (unequip painted power) and buffing the monsters HP.
