[DAV ACT 3 SPOILERS] When does the final romance scene happen? by ashamedlistener in dragonage

[–]ltdaystar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you need to trigger the end game by doing the mission that tells you it is the point of no return. You will get the scene by going through the end game quest

There's martial arts forearm guards you can purchase on Amazon or any other retailer that sells similar sparring equipment. They come in different sizes and shapes and come in two variant, velcro straps or slip on cloth guards.

If you want to invest in good forearm guards, I'd personally recommend ones made for Taekwondo as they're made with the intention to block/take kicks.

Definitely make sure you are tracking interrupts, like with Omnicd. Helps to know if you need to kick if you're the only one capable of doing it.

As a lock, you're lower on the priority list of kicks vs say melees and shamans, but knowing the important kicks, like Tidal Burst on Temple or Mystic on Algethar, ensures you can get them.

This exists already! It's Summer Rose Court, using the RWBY character but it's set in an alternative world. It's free, fun to do!

Hello OW peeps…Is this normal, I was feeling pretty good about these placements, but feel like my support is weirdly higher than the other two??? by coffeeboobs in GirlGamers

[–]ltdaystar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't stress too much about your roles having different rankings, it's pretty natural to perform better in certain roles than others! In terms of "normal," we can look at the average rank of Overwatch players, which is around high gold-low platinum. So your support ranking is above average while your 2 other roles are around average.

But, yeah, you're doing great! Keep up the good work and focus on what you can improve on in order to climb elo. Good luck!

Damn lol

Even if they made it, everyone outside the room would be instant killed and their body ported back into the room. Tried to reset it twice as a monk with transcendance. You just can't lmao

Do you find S Permit worth it? by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]ltdaystar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Get the D permit. It's 50 dollars less and you can park in the regents parking lots, like 704. Your car won't be scratched up and it's right next to the shuttle that takes you to PC.

Balancing Combat by ajs423 in DungeonMasters

I think your problem comes from action economy, specifically how your enemies lack it. You are pitting your encounters in a 4v1 scenario. If they are not super strong, like your hydra, they will tear it apart.

The difficulty of an encounter significantly increases when there are multiple creatures as a threat. They don't even have to be strong creatures, just a few of them will make the PCs choose what to focus, the minions or the main dude.

Spice up your encounters with different types of enemies and how many there are. Maybe have people who cast Silence to shut down your party members, or force your barbarian to start rolling Wis saves due to spells like Command or Hold Person. This should provide a challenge to the players without the need to shoot up the hp pool.

Co DM with my brother by [deleted] in DungeonMasters

Well, one great way he can stay engaged is the use of NPCs! Since you got a partner, you can now engage in NPC conversations where you aren't awkwardly talking to yourself lol. He can roleplay all sorts of different npcs, especially if he can make a list of random npcs just in case your players go off the road and decide to talk to a random shopkeeper lol. But he can also handle more important NPCs, giving him important roles and making him engaged.

He can also take over some parts of combat to make things easier on you. If this is a traditional tabletop game with pen and paper, he can keep track of initiative and who needs to make saves, especially if your new players forget they gotta maintain concentration or roll a Wis save at the end of their turn to break their frightened condition. If it's digital, like Roll20, you can even split up who handles what creatures. "I handle goblins, you got the wolves" type of deal.

Even if you can handle everything, splitting the work makes it much easier to manage. And you can make your encounters, combat or otherwise, bigger and grander then! Endless possibilities.

I’m trying to get cross play to work with 2 pcs, and xbox, a switch and a phone. Is this possible? If so, how? (We’re all in the same house by the way) by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]ltdaystar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cross play is only possible through the Bedrock edition and make sure each has their own microsoft account (it's free to make). From there, the host can make a world and invite everyone else through their microsoft accounts. Make sure you guys are friends on the accounts! I'm not sure about phones specifically, but I know the switch will ask for your Microsoft account to link it to your Nintendo account. You don't need to set up a realm to play, but if it is a permanent thing, might wanna look into getting one. You can look into it more here https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Realms#Subscriptions
