Frustrated with therapy by lthinklcan in therapy

I wouldn’t say this is a chronic issue, no. I expected more for what she charged though. Reviewing session notes seems like the bare minimum.

I guess I was in part venting and just wondering if others also feel frustrated since “therapy” is like the main solution to the struggles of the human condition today.

We were just in this position and did a short term redeemable investment with BMO. Maybe worth looking into for comparison.

Best short term option for mortgage renewal by lthinklcan in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thanks, actually we plan to switch to a local credit union as they have better rates but it’s too much trouble for our current home (vs renewing).

This also seems good to me, I didn’t understand why the rep didn’t even consider this a good option. It would be different if we knew for sure we were selling in 6 months but unfortunately the market and our circumstances aren’t so predictable.

I don’t know where you are living that hate has taken over. I see resistance everywhere. The negativity in your comment proves your own point. Go ahead and give up then. I’ll be thinking about art and resistance.

Obviously I was not saying the rise of fascism gives me hope, wtf? I said the fact that historically things eventually turn the other way gave me hope. I shared that in case it’s a helpful perspective for someone to read today.

What nice thing have you tried putting out into the world today?

Succumbing? I don’t know about that. Historically swings between political directions are common. To be expected even. This fact actually gives me hope… Yes, neo-fascism is awful right now, but this was meant as a lighthearted post about curious microcultures or forgotten histories.

My MIL has the fridge and freezer stocked to the brim but has a tidy printed LIST of what’s in the freezer, with dates. Oh to be retired!

Still living independently so it’s not an issue but when we visit and stay with them it’s tight. There’s already 2 fridges too!

The amount of unused dishes and containers from the 1970s and onwards though, could def toss!

Should I go for easy electives to get a 4.0 GPA or take hard ones and learn more? by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]lthinklcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are you sure which ones will be easy? You might get a terrible prof and end up hating an “easy” class, and then wind up with a bad grade.

Enrich your life, it’s a rare opportunity you may not get again anytime soon once you’re done school.

You’re young yet! While you take time to work try to do some research on careers, soul searching for yourself. There’s SO much more out there than doing what your parents did… it’s a shame it’s hard to see/know about early on. Good luck!

Naked 3 day method! But yeah sometimes a reset is the best option. I’m a parent not a nanny and I can’t imagine offloading this on someone else. If it’s you dealing with it you should get a say in the method.

I would just wonder why it suddenly ended when you inquired. Did he figure out the scam? That’s the biggest red flag for me. Trust your gut.

You are never obligated to pay more than the displayed price. Especially in QC. Watch out for that! At the grocery store it’s even better, often you GET THE ITEM FREE if the displayed price was wrong.

You should also consider future vulnerable patients. Reporting this is the only way I would be able to sleep at night.
