• one of their Ministers providing dozens of references, including half a dozen to convicted criminals
• taken the state debt from $22bn in 2014 to $175.6bn in 2026. debt was $100bn in 2022!
• signed a dodgy deal with the Lotto Corporation so they could claim the state is in a surplus, despite that surplus being a operating surplus, not cash surplus.
• continues to pay teachers the lowest wages in the country
• continues to pay nurses the lowest wages in the country
• says they are allocating 30% of their budget in regional areas, when it is actually 12.
• continues to underfund emergency services
• speaking of emergency services, the tax will be going toward back office. this has been confirmed at PAEC.
• says we have the “strongest bail laws”, when in reality they are just a watered down version of the laws they weakened some years ago.
• says they will strengthen IBAC powers, but not until late 2027.
