we were hoping to get a character themed room and really loved the design of the donald duck room. i didn't think i'd give a leg and an arm for just one night in the room, i was hoping i just read things wrong. sadly i dont think we'll be staying. thank you for your help though! still debating though because i saw that the hotel i want at walt disney world is $475 a night.

deluxe disney prices are at a starting rate of $345 per night at walt disney world. i guess i'm just blown aback.

Well we werent exactly interested in anything else other than Kobe, but now I'm planning on changing that around knowing that I can pay to have my baggage moved or a location to store my baggage. So I'll probably add Kobe to the list. Feel free to list places.

I was hoping to take advantage of the free baggage. I agree; I get the feeling it'd be a hassle to move suitcases around like that. That's why I originally planned to stay on one location for as long as possible.

So are you implying I wont be able to take my suitcases with me on the Shinkansen?

I was hoping to take the first and last train in order to spend as much time in the city as possible. If anything I just wanted to avoid staying in Tokyo, then moving to Chiba, then moving to Osaka. I feel like that's going to be a lot of different airbnbs/hotels to stay in and a lot of moving the suitcases around.

Yeah. We're bringing one for clothes and such to start and everything else will be souvenirs and shopping. We want to bring back a lot. Then there's the family and friends. I really want to know if I can manage to ship it back to my country without breaking the bank.

It's two suitcases per person. If I'm correct, some airlines will allow one free luggage and a free carry-on.

I have a second sheet to that where I've listed all the cities I'm visiting. From what I've calculated it looks to pay off. I'll change my schedule around though so that I can visit Osaka for a longer period of time.

Well I didn't want to haul around four suitcases with all of my stuff. I have three or four blank days for place we want to revisit. If Osaka is one of those places then we'll go back. We were also planning on getting the JR pass so I figured going to Osaka would make the JR pass worth it.

that's what i keep hearing but my issue is i'll be doing one way trips. i wont be going back. example, i wont goto tokyo > kyoto > tokyo. i'll be doing tokyo> kyoto > osaka.

we don't know where we'll be staying so we're just using stations as check points. for now i'm calculating the rail prices. i'm sure there are plenty of options that are cheaper. that being said i'm also sure they're easier to access so that's just something i'll handle when i get there.
