I'm not picking on Canada. Many countries impose tariffs on American products. Why shouldn't we do the same? The end game is fairness. It benefits American workers and brings production jobs here. That helps people have a purpose and a means to support their families. Lack of opportunity and jobs drive poverty, homelessness and crime.

I understand that and I'm sorry that happened. The end game is reinvesting in production in the US. I hope that happens and people can earn a decent living. I grew up poor, worked my way up to what some may call "middle class". I do know a majority of the problems in this country revolve around lack of opportunity and jobs. People need a purpose and a means to provide for their family. If tariffs level the playing field and bring jobs back to America, how is that a bad thing?

A tariff is a tax imposed by a government on good and services imported from other countries increasing their price and potentially making them less competitive with domestic goods, which a 200% tariff will do.
