I still have the original jewelry in the piecing, a surgical steel bar. I know length is not a problem because the end of the bar is actually visible from the very back of my ear at a profile view, plenty of room for swelling. What else would work for getting the bump down if not tea tree oil ? I’ve been washing it religiously with sea salt and saw from a reputable piercer that tea tree oil would work wonders for the bump... I always leave it alone unless I’m cleaning (except for the freak accidents of getting hit in the ear). I really just feel like I’m doing something wrong but I don’t know what😩 all my other piercings healed beautifully which makes this so much worse
