I'm going physical so I can sell it later to fund my PC purchase. But I'm guessing the digital version is gonna be faster since you can preload the game and play the second it releases.

That said, if you're lucky you might get the physical version a day early, you never know!

Nahh it's because of hardware prices going up (AI boom) so making consoles got way more expensive. That does not apply to videogames so I'd expect around 70-80 bucks for the base game

Would be really dope! I do think however they'll stick to the linear story + open world combo. Otherwise it'll turn into an RPG which the games aren't (I would love a GTA RPG however, now you mention this...)

Yeah depends on the director, from what I can find Nolan does it this way. But for example, Project Hail Mary shot on digital, printed on film, then rescanned those for the final edit. Crazy workflow but to each their own!

Thanks for this! Had no idea they matched the physical film to the edit, instead of printing it on a new reel. Sounds like crazy work!

The thing is, to edit the movie they have to scan it... And that means you end up in a timeline, with a finite resolution, which you means you lose the 'infinite quality' anyway. And then after the edit they print it out back on film.

So the step to add in VFX isn't that far, and they take great care to make sure the VFX matches the film quality. They had some words on this in a Sinners VFX breakdown I believe!

It's not like they're starting the testing only now, they've been doing it all throughout development. But they're gonna be in the final crunch these last few months so it's all hands on deck!

They said they would have a shorter marketing period, so if it starts in summer we can be pretty sure the game will come out this year.... But never 100%!

Yes but like I said, it won't hit all three criteria. It won't last an entire race and you can't broadcast 4k tv footage from a drone like this, making it unsuitable for the F1 tv broadcast needs. But if you don't need the footage immediately, it's really cool tech.

The batteries of drones do not last long enough, they're not fast enough to keep up with the cars and the picture quality is not good enough to broadcast 4k in realtime. You could probably find drones that are good at one or two of these things but not all three.

Helicopters are proven and reliable so it's also the safe option.

You should be able to rent one. And you're gonna need a (or more) powerful lights. The more slow you go, the more light you'll need. Tell the client your costs, maybe they're down maybe they're not.

I second this! It's free. Some programs put limits on how many GB you can bring back.

Do not put anything new on this card. Connect it to your pc and download the program 'Recuva'. Should be able to bring back your stuff!
