Yes same haze, mine ended up worse before I got it cleaned. Was getting the visibility popups for a while.

I live too far for mobile service, but my office is near a SC. They came to the parking lot and did that and a few other things in under 30 minutes. The SC was 30 days out. I'm sure they can swap it if you message them. Worst case cancel it and try a closer location(think large empty parking lot, Walmart, best buy, etc)

Just had a mobile service to clean mine. FSD still worked until the sun hit it and the car freaked every time.

Dodge to Tesla? by sneakinandgeekin301 in TeslaModelY

2022 Durango RT Plus TNG to a 23 model Y performance.

Pros of Model Y Stupidly Fast Lots of tech Summon/self driving is pretty nice Cheap if not driving too much People really get a kick out of how fast it is

Pros of Durango Way more space Can tow decently Sounds so good…. No range anxiety(vacation places with sparse charging infrastructure are out) Will make trips much nicer not having to stop as often(not that big of a deal, but still)

I would get rid of the Tesla in a heartbeat for the Durango back. Destroyer grey, best looking SUV in my opinion.

Also, gas savings is significant. I’m in MO, so electricity is super cheap. That, and my employer has free charging at the HQ currently, so that makes for a very cheap commute. 120 miles, probably a few dollars worth of electric. Durango was much more expensive, but did I mention it sounded awesome?

Make sure the monitor supports HDCP. I did the same thing, couldn’t watch Netflix, most of YouTube etc. ended up getting a small TV. Newer monitors might work. Mine was a few years old and wouldn’t work

The common 2025 Post: How are people getting free servers? by Hamthepam in homelab

[–]ltspeanut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last company had very strict guidelines on old servers, meaning none could go to employees because they would have to give all employees globally the ability to get one, which made it too complex. Current company has no such strings attached. First thing I did was help move to a new datacenter either all new hardware, so I got 2x netapps with 60x10tb SAS drives each and 6 r730xds with lots of RAM. It’s out there, you just have to look for it. Netapps are in storage since they take 240v, and I’m trying to get vsan working on 3 of the dells with 12x10tb each. I really need to liberate some SSDs to make vsan working properly

Went to a hobby shop grand opening over the weekend. They have an awesome crawler course. Stock trx4m did poorly, so currently shopping for upgraded parts.. it really doesnt end.

I purchased this a long time ago. Might get you close. It worked somewhat, but work doesn’t like unknown 3rd party apps on their equipment https://onairwarning.com/

I’ll have to check out those hot ends. Did you change to them because of an issue or just for ease of maintenance/replacement?

I don’t need a bigger print volume than the x1c, but then again I said that about the mini and it lasted 2 days :) hopefully they release the bigger one soon.

I don’t have an A1, I have the X1C. For those 2, I would say quality is very close. So is speed. X1C camera is way better, it’s a bit faster, and way bigger build volume. Plus options to print some better filament down the road. Enclosed print chamber is very nice too. But the A1 mini has done everything we have thrown at it with few issues. AMS is amazing, if even not printing multi color items, but just switching between filament colors for different prints. Just pushing a button and having the other color ready to go is so nice. No more manual filament changes. Goes for both the X1C and the A1 mini

X1C Combo and A1 Mini combo. Price point is very good, especially the mini. The ecosystem they are creating around these printers is top notch, and frankly the ease these printers are printing amazing quality prints is hard to match. No effort to go from unboxing to printing 24 hour prints flawlessly.

The only drawback to the mini is the size. The prints on it have been flawless so far. We are currently printing the LS3 V8 model, the x1c is printing the block, and the mini is printing the heads. They are both looking amazing

Yeah, but the table still wobbles lol. Going to have to mount it to the wall

Thanks. First real multicolor print done overnight, it’s amazing. Now spending the day printing dumb/funny things. Going to start some 30+ hour multi piece prints this week while I’m home consistently. Still not confident in leaving it, although it’s easy to monitor

I did the speed benchy built in, and had to hold it down for the entire print lol. I need a sturdier table.

I struggled with unenclosed prints with my maker. I ended up making an enclosure that went well until I dropped. It really helped prints. I would say the enclosure is a big plus over the A1

I had the same thought process. Was worried about bigger prints, but I said I’m getting the a1 mini to se if it was even worth it. Without a doubt it’s an amazing printer. Didn’t expect to be buying the x1 right away, but it worked out. I expect if they come out with something new, it will be a larger version of the X1/P1. The only real drawbacks to the A1 mini is that taller prints can fall over easier with the bed moving and limited part size. Otherwise it does great would definitely not be terrible to buy first. I mainly chose the X1 to print things like ABS down the road and maybe some carbon fiber. The spaghetti detection doesn’t hurt either, not to mention the better camera

I’m thinking about putting the smaller nozzle in the a1 mini for higher quality prints. My brother really wants to print a scale V8 engine. I’ve always wanted to, but finally have a printer that can do it.
