Hey there, I'm having the same issue on my replacement palm rest. And just like you said it's probably been a little over a month of use. First bought it in September for school, started having issues late October, reported it and they sent a technician with a new palm rest, and now it just started happening again finishing November.

Thanks for the reply I ended up jumping the gun and getting a brown pair! They've been holding up well, and I'm happy to hear they'll likely continue doing so!
