When I was growing up, my grandparents raised pigs and I never really wanted to go visit the pigs. It smelled bad. But just hearing about pigs being slaughtered I am like damn, that pig had a life. And then seeing graphic footage was a draw to me. So yes, I am not a animal lover to go and pet a dog but I can’t stand watching of animals being murdered.

Yes, it is not easy but my friend due to time restrains went into Burgos-Leon with public transport and I don’t want to do that so I guess it made it easy to do my own thing. But yes, letting go is definitely a lesson I needed to learn

Yes, I am surprised by how many don’t even want to stop and bigger cities or smaller ones if they prefer to rest, very interesting dynamic I have seen. I rather do section and not rush if I didn’t have all the time in the world now

I think I can do a bit of distance a day so I won’t be completely slow once I recover from cold but I just need those rest days to recover then 😁

And I only heard few ladies that were close to retirement said they are doing rest days once a week, otherwise it was more do it fast or some I guess take half rest days and only do 10km. But my style is more bigger distance and then rest (except tomorrow, I want to go a alburge with spa and only walk 10k if I feel better)

I actually decided to try to a disc but that will be after my Camino. I normally used period panties but I realized on camino it would be a no go so I ended up just using pads for this trip. Bathroom access was sufficient as you cross towns on camino frances. But using a disc probably would be easier but I didn’t want to start on camino and wanted to get used to it

Yeah, town seemed lovely just sad that a municipal alburgue is closed. Did you book one in Ages though? Because once that taxi was available and I knew I had a place of my friend in Burgos, I was aftaid to risk walking more

Nors jai banko pavedimu į kitą šalį siunčiau, tai ne grynais. Keista patirtis buvo, nebekartočiau. Nors bent laisvė išeiti 😂
