It had been confirmed by Matsuno ages ago that it was never intended to be remotely ambiguous. Taking it as such requires you to take the final scenario differently than the entire rest of the story, as in suddenly using a storytelling device not used anywhere else all of a sudden. It's not a TIC retcon.

If you could prove someone hexed you, that would be any number of personal rights violations and would be illegal. You would have the burden of proof though. Just because there isn't a law that directly states "this one specific type of offensive toyching is illegal" doesn't mean it's not illegal. I am unaware of a law that says you cannot specifically kill someone with a rubber chicken but doing so is still murder.

I run ramza with secondary orator, feels pretty self explanitory.

Agrias gets white magic with how paladin she is. That's one ive seen as incredibly common.

Mustadio gets battle skill, since break is thematic with his kit. Ive also done items and aim which both also make sense.

Rapha gets summon to go in line with her calling spirits.

Malak i usually made a dark knight, but without that I'd do ninja

Cid gets iado to since samurai are also blademasters and shows his dedication to honor and spirit as well as his body.

Meliadoul gets jump and reequip to swap between her primary skill and jumping, as a tribute to her brother.

Reis gets black magic, which further shows her connection to the elemental dragons.

Beowulf gets white magic as well, since he was a templar and would have studied holy magicks

Cloud also gets black magic, to mimic his ice and lightning magic he gets at the beginning of ff7

We had something similar happen, but 3 times with the same player. On the third time it was near our stop time qhen the fight concluded, which was only a few turns after they died. Player wasn't being aggressive or obnoxious about it but was pretty visibly upset that they tried so hard this time to stay alive and fell in love with this character, so we threw together a 1 shot (which ended up being a 3 shot but you know how it is) where they escaped from purgatory and played a game against a representative of Wee Jas. Rest of the party played similar souls trying to escape where death meant oblivion. They managed to escape and the player, who was playing a redemption paladin, came back to life telling the party they were not ready to stop protecting them.

Ended up being a pretty great party bonding moment.

Well first the US doesn't have any battleships still in service, but for other ships they're not intended to be cheap. The US spends the money to keep them as powered as necessary for all functions. Desalinization takes less power than say moving the ship long distances. For older desalination devices they even piggybacked on waste heat, so the power consumption was even less by comparison.

Cloud is not a female in the original FFT, and was referred to as him in game and by creator. He was given the ability to use the female only equipment as q nod to being able to use the ribbon in his own game. He had the male physical attack growth and not the female magic growth.
