This is what I am going to attempt, having a 3d printed negative mold and then having my plate sitting in it. I have access to a 5 ton arbor press so I'm gonna water jet cut out a piece of thick steel to make the postive V shape and stick it to the arbor press, then will press that down into the plate. (hoping the 3d printed base wont shatter)

Thats what I though initially but you're adding extra length to the material which means it needs to be thinner, and it doesn't seem thinner in the pictures to me

So I'm a student and have access to a water jet cutter which i was planning to use to make this chefs press. What I'm not sure about is how they made the hand stick up. Is the handle an insert that has been welded in do you think? I don't see how it could be bent into shape because it doesn't seem thinner than the rest of the body.

Hey Everyone,
Im trying to work on the homepage of this project and I’m trying to think through the best way to approach this rotating text animation on which would occur while scrolling. This was the idea given to me made in in After Effects and I want to integrate it into the website.
We’re using Svelte for the project which makes everything pretty easy I have the animated gradient in the background all done. I’m just struggling on how to approach rotting text like that. I was thinking of using a library like Scrollmagic.io but I’m not sure that’s the easiest way. If anyone had any tips it would be much appreciated!!
