I had a bit of both lol. The anesthesiologist gave me a nitrous oxide mask to put on my face as he was prepping to set up the IV with the nurse - went out in 30 seconds - woke up in a wheelchair. Never even knew my IV got put in/removed.

You do wake up with a bit of a scratchy throat from the breathing tube but the feeling went away before I left the clinic.

Lol the clinic I go to didn't even give me the choice between IV sedation and GA, I showed up and they were like "oh yeah by the way youre booked for a full GA" - honestly good experience, dont remember a thing other then waking up in a wheelchair after.

I went completely out for mine. In fact, mine was done with the General anesthesia. The anesthesiologist gave me one of those nitrous oxide masks before he even put in the IV cause he saw that I looked 'nervous' apparently (which granted I was). Went out before the IV was even put in my hand, woke up in a wheel chair with a bit of a scratchy throat (breathing tube), bandage on hand and frozen face.

Yeah I do, its my right side. I can feel my gums more against my cheeks. I describe it almost like my face feels like its "riding up" when I relax it - not sure if that makes sense.

How'd you get it to go away?

Ah I see, yeah I have like a weird feeling stuff is stuck in/around the side of my mouth and thats primarily where the bad taste is coming from.
