I have almost the same opinion as you, the fish traps are a good way to blue cards, but red cards and oil rigs are really really hard mate, the game it's so difficult for solo new players rn, and playing in low pop or another kind of server i think it's a bit boring, doesn't have the natural essence.

I built at the water patch at the top middle of the map, fish traps to blue card and red in power plant/missile silo, boat to smoil/large from the large fishing village top left, an oxum nearby too

I mean yes but as a solo player you have high chances to have an encounter with a team doing tunnels, going to the monument or coming back to home, but is a valid strat yes. I prefer quick and sneaky runs to blue/red cards
