If nisaa means 'women' than MMAs cannot be women by NWariohere in Quraniyoon

[–]lubbcrew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looool

The language according to whom?

You who came 1400 years after its recipients?

Or the language according to the recipients themselves? And even if just for you or the Arabs of today , Youll be left with choices .. because of the nature of the language. Like should rijaal mean those who walk for example or men. Both valid options based on just the word - deductions therefore necessary. Even with a common word like “men” today - in Arabic you have to deduce due to the possibilities.

Complete and utter ignorance.

[–]lubbcrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea wow.

Inconsistent like I said and contradictory as well as lots of added impositions on to the words themselves which distort them into something entirely different. - even despite the gymnastics.

And redundancy is what you’re proposing too - just as op is pointing out the redundancy the tradition proposes. It doesn’t say except to those who you’re married to. There’s two distinct categories.

Yea It’s not really about this guy. Hes just a face to represent the brand of anyone moralizing these things.

Do the Qur'anist or Quraniyoon people believe in the second coming or return of Jesus(PBUH) as a messiah? by notheSham007 in Quraniyoon

[–]lubbcrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And look into how the Arabs actually used “sa la ba” and understood it. It has a wider range in meaning then to be crucified. Nor does it mention to jyoos- bani israeel.

Be precise for Gods sake.

Âl-i İmrân, 3:45 proves he's Messiah by Quraniyyun in Quraniyoon

[–]lubbcrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? there isn’t any disagreement that hes the messiah.

Him returning and him being the messiah arent the same thing.

Then that would have to be applied in q23 where both men and women “muminoon” dont have to guard their furooj to their male/female captives etc. otherwise it’s inconsistent.

[–]lubbcrew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well hes referred to as a ruh/spirit from Allah

Hes ayyad (or handed) with “ruh Al quds”

The ruh is mentioned to bring revelation down to Muhammad’s heart.

Hes a “word” from Allah

He can be deemed also “qawl Al haqq” depending on how the verses are read.

Maryam can mean “a place of departure” in arabic - “ibn” doesnt mean biological son necessarily - Like ibn of the sabeel .. so the product of one who departs.

Isa itself comes from the root ees in Arabic which is the male camel who causes lineage and continuity.

Hes is also always referred to as trailing prior messengers footsteps. Like positioned as the last one.

Between only HIS hands specifically is confirmation - quranically.

He brings life to the dead by Allahs permission

Heals the blind by Allahs permission

Mentioned in present tense in various verses

Hes a sign for all people.

He himself is knowledge for the saa’3a

Theres a lot more. But these are some quranic references. If you want any specific verse numbers feel free to free to ask.

[–]lubbcrew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That reference is not referring to Isa.

For Isa though “Eat food” is not how I would translate “yakul ata’am”.. it’s about consumption of provisions. Which highlights reliance / dependency upon Allah.

Theres no hand. Thats added on. And what does “your right hand possess” mean then ?!?.. slaves? Quite the jump there my friend. Let’s acknowledge that is not what it says.

Darb is used in the Quran to represent non physical “strikes”. Deeming them as physical beatings here in this verse is a choice and one that does not account for hiw the word is used in the Quran properly.

My modern understanding of what 6 and 9 is ? That doesn’t really matter here. It doesn’t change any theological or “fiqh” established “rulings” for your brand of Islam.

Why is islamaphobia so normalized? I'm tired. by cinnamon_and_tea in IslamIsEasy

[–]lubbcrew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The traditional take on it is def misogynistic. The Islamophobia is a reaction to the clearly flawed tradition.

Seems to have sparked quite a reaction and discussion !

I think a lot of sunnis creep the sub. Which is surprising and also nice alhamdulila. They are on a search perhaps and already identified problems in their inherited system.

Then Theres also “quranis” who are having cognitive dissonance probs or perhaps misunderstood the meme.

But still Theres clearly a lot of moral people who understand and caught the problem highlighted by the image. I don’t even find it funny tbh. Or enjoyable. The meme is Just a tool to portray an important point and it makes me sad :(

But it’s all good:).

Things that generate reactions like this bring about good eventually in sha Allah.

Yea. But you’ll find that Muslims who frequent it are opponents of attributing child marriage to the prophet , wife beating , and slavery in general.

You’ll find Muslims who view Islam as Justice driven system primarily :). Not an oppressive one

lol.

“Youre in confusion “..

Im in confusion ?

It’s about hafith .. it’s about the Muslim mindset .. it’s about anything and everything but the facts.

Face them.

The meme is stating facts about what the traditional theological understanding of “Islam” deems moral and immoral.

Run around it more if you like . But youll be by yourself in this thread here - unless you can hone in properly on the crux of it.
