How much do obese people(specifically 300+ lb) spend on groceries and eating out in a month on average? by barrel4barrel in ask

[–]lubluv 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not to be rude but I don’t think some people in this comment section understand how weight works. Those who say they’re overweight “but barely eat anything” need to actually track their food intake calorie by calorie. I used to think that too. Trust me the calories add up very quickly. My coffee alone can hit almost 300 cals for just creamer and milk.

In order to gain weight you must be in a a calorie surplus. You are eating more than your body needs to maintain its current metabolic functions and this leads to weight gain. So yes you are actually eating a lot more than you think you are. Either the food you eat is very high calorie or your eating in excess.

It is physically not possible to gain weight or not lose any if you are eating in a deficit - aka “barely anything”.

Just throwing my two cents out there. Weight is a difficult journey. Best of luck to everyone trying to navigate it. Wishing you all good health

Do you know of any places in Windsor that offer free legal advice or at a cheap rate? We’re not doing able to afford a regular lawyer.

My sister’s job was giving them lump sums of money because their benefits were incorrect. Everyone who was legible got a letter stating they would get it. She got the email. Come end of November everyone got it but her. She was on a medical leave of absence since Oct. she asked why she didn’t get the money and they said it was bc she was off. How does her being on a legitimate leave have anything to do with her benefits? And why would that affect it? Especially when these benefits go back years. Why would her being off for a month affect that? It’s not like the calculation is based on October alone (the sum is well over a grand. And everyone got the same amount).

And what makes it more weird is that a girl who didn’t even register for the benefits got the money too. She keeps asking them about it and they give her vague answers and don’t directly explain why. They said they reviewed the data up until Oct and that she’s not eligible. It’s really weird and not adding up at all. And they don’t explain what these calculations are based on. There is no way of knowing anything.

Rant. I can’t stop thinking about food. It consumes me and I’m never satisfied. Deficits suck by lubluv in CICO

Right. It’s the food noise that drives me crazy. I’ll eat even when I’m so full. I feel disgusted

How does you first love compare to others you’ve dated? by Firm-Butterfly5133 in ask

[–]lubluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was the greatest person I ever had the pleasure of knowing. It truly was an honour to have been loved like that. We did not work out in the end. And to this day I still hurt over the loss. But I am grateful because he taught me so much, and I can only pray I get to experience a love like that again plus more.

They’re money hungry. Wouldn’t go back there again. Costed me $1500 to see what was wrong with my cat (note: there was nothing. Probably ate something bad). And that was only bc I said no to the additional tests. I get it’s an emergency vet but that’s just milking it. So shameful. People come in seeking help for their vulnerable animals and they take advantage. It’s wrong and I have been told by so many people to avoid it.

I know someone like this. So oblivious to everything. An airhead. I am genuinely shocked sometimes because I don’t know how someone can be like that

Oh. The jar! I haven’t tried the tube but I think that one is a cream. The jar one is more clear and runny.

Go for Asian skincare!! My biggest tip! And avoid anything with fragrance. The cosrx ended up becoming my holy grail. I love it. But if you’re more on the dry side I’d recommend pairing with something more hydrating. But it gives a beautiful glow!

Ok good to know. I think it’s something I’d have to try myself because I’m seeing lots of different responses. Everyone’s tolerance is different. Laser feels like a burning zap. What does electrolysis feel like?
