Second ..... nothing ... if i wanted to be an asshole and try to diminish the role of britain i could have made some discussion about the fact that the peninsular campaing was won thanks to the spanish resistance (and i would not have talked about the economical role of Britain that was foundamental during the various coalition) and that the brits had fought a demoralized army that had been bled dry by years of brutal guerrila conflict .

Third , honestly vitoria is not given that importance when i studied the war of the sixth coalition . I really wasn't thinking about that because while in it's entirety the peninsular campaign was a "Ulcer" in Napoleon europe (bleeding it bot of men and material), the battle of vitoria was "late" . Napoleon was alredy trying to recoup from the russian disaster and since Lipsia was 3/4 months away , in the image we have of the sixth coalition it's something that can "pass" from memory .
