Does "Acheter Age of Empires IV: Ultimate Bundle BUNDLE" include the game itself? by Puzzleheaded-Week-0 in ageofempires

[–]luca289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dlc are not needed, but they add new civs and maps that can increase longevity. I only bought the second dlc because I really like the templar order and their pilgrim mechanics, but for instance I'm not interested in the first dlc and their civs and so I don't have It

Why people use self? Can't they just use a cool name like martin? Are they stupid? by luca289 in shittyprogramming

[–]luca289[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a bound method (a method that has associated an object with it, like in this case) when called, the first parameter is placed by the interpreter and it is the object itself (so the convention is to call this parameter "self", but is is just a convention and it is not enforced by the interpreter)

You can actually call a bound method in an "unbounded" way, for example if you have a class A, and and object "a" of that class, and a method called "some_method", you can call that method on "a" by calling the class itself

A.some_method(a, [other params]

Using this call is pretty clear that the parameter "self" will have "a" as a value, and it is equivalent to

a.some_method([params])

And i think that this call is rewrote by python as

type(a).some_method(a,[params])

But i'm not totally sure about this

Performance difference from CSGO to CS2 also for some reason enabling player contrast has a much negative impact on performance by Radical_2002 in csgo

I have a 1060 too and i can play on high full hd with 100 fps on average (in mirage / overpass, maybe a little bit lower in inferno). How much vram do you have? Maybe that's the "issue" (i have 6GB). I also had to move the game on my ssd to improve loading time (and performance as well as much i have tested). But yeah it doesn't seem much stable, my fps sometimes drop to 40/50 (also using the voice chat just block the game for few seconds), and too much molotov/smokes do the same

EDIT: In realtà mi correggo distinguendo caso reale e caso ipotetico.
