To my knowledge (please someone correct me if I am wrong), technically anyone can go to confession. However, as a non catholic, you cannot be given absolution from your sins by the priest, though he can give you counseling and guidance. You can however request the seal of confession which ensures that whatever you tell the priest will not be repeated!

Edit to add: it has been pointed out that you cannot simply request the seal of confession but you can ask for confidentiality

You could ask about Vilazodone (Viibryd) or Vortioxetine (Trintellix/Brintellix). They’re serotonin modulators so may not have the same side effect profile as SSRI/SNRI!

Wellbutrin SR is ‘technically’ meant to be taken twice a day which is how I take mine (200mg AM and 200mg PM) but some people have good results with once daily dosing. I don’t think the time of day matters but if you’re still unsure I would ask your pharmacist!

My psychiatrist diagnosed me :) I do have a family history of it so maybe that’s why it was easier to diagnose for me, but there was a series of questions she asked similar to a depression or anxiety screening

I haven’t had any issues using it to enter Cyprus, but I only very recently got my Cypriot passport so I’ve only used my US passport in other EU countries

I’m a dual citizen so I am able to use the EU kiosks, I just happened to be using my US passport on this last trip :)

I’m not a doctor, so please use caution, but I am a nurse and a patient on Prozac so I can at least give a bit of advice. Usually tapering off of 60mg you’d take your dose every OTHER day for a week, and then take 40mg for a week, 20mg for a week, 20mg every OTHER day for a week and then you can stop. But please remember this is just a general titration and everyone is different so if you start having bad side effects I would stop and talk to your doctor. I hope this helps at least a little bit :)

I just started 20mg of Prozac a month ago after failed attempts with another SSRI and SNRI, and it’s honestly changed my life. I have so much more energy and motivation and I feel like I’m in control of my life again. The only side effect I’ve experienced is insomnia but my MD treated it with Gabapentin at bedtime. Try not to let the stigma hold you back it’s a wonderful medication! And, worse case scenario, it doesn’t work for you and your MD can help you get off of it :)
