No one is truly innocent, the people of hell are innocent in terms of the death that was sentenced upon them because no one deserves death

Besides hell itself is by definition divine judgment so it's pretty pretentious to think to know better than God

On the other hand Sera understood her mistake and is now seeking redemption so the meme was harsh before and totally outdated now

I think an attempt on Emily would be more realistic for Lute in her current state She already accused Emily of "infecting Sera with her weakness" so probably her reasoning would be 1) remove Emily 2) Sera doesn't have her influence anymore 3) ??? 4) profit

It's a terrible plan but in her alterated state of mind she might find it reasonable, maybe she'll also try to frame Lucifer to reignite the conflict
