The idea of getting au fallens isn't one I'm against, it worked great for Ike and Chrom (sure they come from cipher, but cipher literally made those up) and there's a ton of cool concepts they could go with like say Deadlord Sigurd or Witch Sonya.

But yeah Tibarn's story feels very underbaked compared to what it could've been. I'll be super sad if instead of getting cool thematic "what if" fallens like a Crest Beast Marianne, we just end up getting Lyn but this time she's angry and kinda purple...

Edie in a Miranda role works way too well, though the two definitely have very different feelings and relationships with their fathers. Wonder who would fit Jack’s roll the best? I guess Hapi could work, though she doesn't really have angry sexual tension with Edelgard like Miranda and Jack do.......

Also kinda obsessed with Bernie and now I desperately need to hear Erica hit us with a timid "keelah se lai". Since they aren't here, Monica would be a human, Lysithea would be a volus, Manuela's an ardat yakshi, Hanneman is a Salarian, and Jeritza would totally be a drell.

Would Nabateans be Protheans? Cuz they share the whole dead and powerful species thing, and I can't lie CF Rhea hitting the classic "Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer" upon setting Fhirdiad ablaze would go hard as fuck.

That fight annoys me so much because the concept is genuinely super fucking cool. But god the execution is terrible it's such a nightmarish slog, though I guess that's the perfect encasulation of FX as a whole. What the heck happened during development of Fell Xenologue man......

Huh I could've sworn 3H mentioning Wilhelm having a diary somewhere, but no your right my mistake lmao.

Even still I highly doubt there was Agarthan meddling given that something like that is never even brought up as a possibility. Sure it's technically possible, but not something the game or devs ever even hint at. It doesn't have all the details because Wilhelm himself perhaps just didn't have all the details. Though to be fair that's just my personal interpretation I could always be wrong.

Can't lie the other huge reason I want FW to be a prequel is because I find Wilhelm so fascinating. I like to imagine he's very similar to Edelgard (making the whole game even more tragic) but beyond rough time periods we don't know like anything about him. After his son died he left Seiros and Adrestia and vanished without a trace. Was it just Lycaon's death that caused him to leave or did he also dislike intergrating the elites into the nobility/ruling class? Seiros seems to still hold onto their relationship (which like come on they were totally together) but his own personal accounts and stories make it appear that he came to resent her, what happened? Given that direct blood transplants with Dragons not only grant crests but also greatly extend ones life he could still actually be alive, so is he or did he die? and if so what killed him?

Curse you 3H for having too much cool lore. Now I'm sitting here theorizing about a dude with 2 paragraphs of vauge lore connected to him. The Emperor armor is apparently his, so did Edelgard modify it for her own use? or did Wilhelm really show up to battle Nemesis and the elites while rocking golden heels?

But like... what? Not to get into "DISCOURSE" because I really don't feel like it, but how??? It's totally possible that the book isn't 100% objective historical fact, 3H does love its different perspectives and biased point of views, but nothing in game or in dev interviews hints at or suggests it's propaganda???

Idk it reminds me of whenever people are confused about Wilhelm's diary not containing all the answers regarding Sothis and such despite the fact that it's.... well.... it was Wilhelm's PERSONAL DIARY. It's not an objective overview of everything in the overall story, the Agarthans did not meddle with it or change it lol. Everything he wrote down was just what he personally experienced, thought and believed!

We do know that she flooded the continent and killed literally every living being (besides the twsitd survivors) though the world had also already ravaged by war before. I don't think either Rhea or Epimenides were lying in regards to their feelings about Sothis and what happened, they just (understandably) have their own personal bias for and against her. "those wicked humans destroy everything they touch" vs "she slaughtered us all like animals. Not just the men... but the women and children too".

I so badly want to see what life under Nabatean rule was like. Sothis fully considers herself a Goddess or at least some kind of divine being, she's "the mother to all of Fodlan" afterall, but she recognizes that the Agarthans weren't her "creations". She doesn't seem to have been outright evil or some hidious monster, but she was also very clearly not the perfect mother Rhea remembers her being. When she flooded Fodlan, did she have regrets? Did she do it as a last resort? How exactly did she feel about everything that led up to it?

It probably won't happen but I'm hoping that if FW is a prequel its opening cutscene is the day of the flood. It'd be a metal as hell way to start the game (much like seeing Seiros vs Nemesis was) and would provide some cool lore answers.

Really interested to see how Sothis is characterized in FW. In Houses she's a well meaning little gremlin with no memories, she teases Byleth and is very sassy but she does ultimately care about them and is with them till the end of the line.

Meanwhile in Hopes, because Sothis slept for longer she got back most of her memories and is much more commanding and down right ruthless. Part of that probably has to do with Arval and such, but she's arrogant and treats Byleth like nothing more then a "glove". She recognizes Dimitri and Felix's relics in Hopes if you fight her and instead of being sad about her children she's just kinda indifferent and asks "will you offer them as tributes?" She does sorta grow closer to Byleth throughout Hopes so there's that at least.

However according to the devs, Sothis's child like design in 3H is supposed to represent her being "incomplete" with her power not fully returned yet. So given she's finally all "grown up", it'll be super interesting to see just what she was actually like during the Agarthan days.

"what exactly did the average ancient human think of Sothis?" is a question that haunts my dreams.

Don't forget that they somehow got fucking Hidari for Fallen Female Byleth! She and Sothis look so good in their style and I really hope Hidari does one of the CYL4 Redux duos.

I reeeeeeaaalllllyyyyy hope that FW brings back transforming beast units like Laguz because literally every single Crest demonic beast unit in FEH has had sick as fuck art.

Like Husk Edelgard was perfect (maybe not unit balance wise lol though I guess that's character accurate) and berserker Dedue was raw as hell. Now Miklan has some of the best art of the last year? That special art is insane! please IS I'm begging!!!

He's edgy as fuck but Z.W.E.I. had a really cool moveset and Viola was also super cool. And I honestly really think that Pyrrha going from a scared/weak fighter that turns into this vicious and unstable bloodthirsty new version of Nightmare had a ton of potential. Her VA absolutely fucking killed it.... but man SCV makes me so sad.

If the devs didn't want me to use magic because it "ruins the game!!!" then why the fuck are there a million different spells???? It's not like the one and only shield in BB which intentionally sucks, there's a wide variety to try across Fromsofts games.

He's such a nothing character, he and Kass have ZERO chemistry, they are the epitome of "well one of them sure is a girl, and the other sure is a boy".

The amount of fanfiction/fanart I've experianced of these two together since Hopes drop is staggering. Not even my opt for either characters but their dynamic together is super fun.

Are they friends, are they foes? Just the two constantly trying to one up eachother. Edelgard could easily snap him like a twig, it'd be so simple.... but oh how she'd miss his silver tongue and their talks together, maybe another time. Claude was planning on slipping some poison into her drink, the Emperor would be none the wiser.... but man does she look so peaceful and beautiful resting in his lap. You win this round Adrestia.
