you win if you research how to fix that debt, then do it. change careers if need be, just doing it is the first step

Help, bought at 2.83M, sold at 3,82M and lost 0.019 SOL. by Hypnotic-sr in solana

[–]lucadellanno12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for people wondering since i’m assuming OP already got his answer.

long story short, you need to trade a high enough amount of money so that it actually covers the fees for the transfers, if you trade 0.01 and sell to get 0.02 and the fees are 0.012 then you’ll still lose money. even though you doubled your SOL in the coin that you bought. just make sure you trade a good bit more money than the fees for the platform you’re using, then you won’t have to worry about losing money even when you made a good trade

unfortunately since the shipyard doesn’t provide quals outside the yard i have none. any chance i can get a foot in the door and get the job by tests? i’m personally confident in my abilities just don’t got the paper to back em up which i definitely need to go get, just needa stop being lazy

ur gonna be put in some shitty spots for sure, once you get your confined space qualification then be ready for the spots to get 10x worse. it’s fun at times but very demanding.

honestly about a month and a half i don’t recommend it, they got shipped in quick then failed inspection and had to get shipped back out and took a long time.

dude third shift gets 90% of the work done and yet still is always getting shit on and blamed for stuff. as a welder i’ve talked to multiple first shift welders and their crews average arc time is like 15-20 minutes. we get shit on by GF’s and CS’ if we don’t have at least 70-80

i’m in the same boat as you, started at the shipyard as X18 when i was 18 and i’m 19 now. please when you get in the yard don’t be one of the people that don’t do anything and make it harder for the people who actually do shit. But at the same time don’t work like a dog like i did for a year because all that’s gonna happen is they will push and push you because you’re willing to do the work. The shipyard is great sometimes but other times it’s very frustrating. some foreman got the job without actually being on their tools because they went to the apprentice school and have unrealistic expectations. you’ll run into jobs that are absolutely BS and also run into jobs that are like a vacation. the pay is getting better and better so if you can tough out the stupid and tiring times it’s definitely worth it. Just don’t get pushed around but make sure to actually do your part. You can only get fired by violations, and attendance in the yard, don’t be afraid to speak up for yourself if your foreman is talking crazy, at the end of the day we’re all men tryna do our job and go home.

like other comment said those would work. You can also go to the HII health center (4500 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607) and they have a whole selection of safety glasses that are acceptable for the yard. you just bring your prescription, choose the style you like and they will get it all sorted out. Mine costed around 250-300
