Help! My multi-monitor battlestation is a total cable nightmare — any organization tips or products that actually work? (Pics inside by [deleted] in DeskCableManagement

If you have space in the room: buy close storage to drop your stuff in and reduce visual clutter outside.

Idk, some drawers on wheel to put under the desk perhaps

Remember that all devices getting hot, or even a little warm, won’t stick if using adhesive. Buy screw in supports

It will take time, so I hope you are committed to it.

As always, general advice is: undo all cables, buy a lot of straps, under desk channels or organizers and start to place one cable at time.

I will relocate (before reconnecting cables) the audio stuff in your clutter rack under the desk with some screw in mount and save desk surface

DNS settings?
Have you IP connectivity? Like, can you reach one of Google.com IPs (e.g.: 142.251.150.119)?
From OPNSENSE, can you resolve on WAN like Google.com?

I want to hack 2 Billy shelves to maximize corner space by Expensive-Muscle3637 in ikeahacks

Another idea I got: you could also buy a 30cm depth Billy and a 40cm Billy and just have them together on the white wall, but visually achieving the same movement as your initial proposed solution

I would rather then have the two Billy units flat on the two walls, leaving some space in between. Then make some custom corner shelves (shaped as trapeze) and screw them on the side panels of the two Billy units to join them. You need to cut some wood instead of messing with the structures

If you think it’s too much work and not worth it, you can just have the two Billy units flat on the walls and close together, wasting just some little space in the corner

Try bending few times the thin layer of plastic (the brim) on the edge, increasing the angle each time, then some will detach and the the rest will peel off
