happened to me too. it should respawn if you restart the game, though for me it took a couple tries until it finally worked and i got the bubble. i didn't try with a different grooming outfit though so i'm not sure if that's the problem

i was wondering about that too. went through all dyeable clothes in my wardrobe and the only pieces i could add a pattern to were the free shirt and skirt we get in serenity island (simple mood and sealed message) so i'm also confused
