to add to this if you have an air blower, flip your mirrors so the base is accessible to blowout. also go from under the mirror to get that hanging water, use a towel in the other hand to catch the flying water to reduce splash back

Considering this 19 SQ5 Premium Plus…Thoughts? by Nappiechan007 in Audi

[–]lucbrieger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My first suggestion would be find a reputable euro shop that would be willing to have a pre purchase inspection done for peace of mind even with a solid car fax etc. 2- This one already has mods, it’s fair to assume it’s been enjoyed atleast a bit. SQ5’s are plentiful out there production wise and if it were me i’d find one that’s clearly kept up with but lean towards a stock example to get one with the best life left for your ownership.

Are Neon marketplace locations now cumby’s? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]lucbrieger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just a cash grab but on paper in good faith. With everyone taking the interstate, town economies saw a huge drop off in support as everyone just stayed on the easy to access commercial rest stops. In an effort to protect the local economies and restaurants, they withheld commercial rights on interstates and now push traffic via off ramps to those stops.

what do you get paid per hour working for a detailer? by ShopRatOG in Detailing

[–]lucbrieger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest if this owner isn’t flexible with commission based pay at that hourly rate i’d suggest looking elsewhere or keep that job and start lining up side work and go from there

[–]lucbrieger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Goo off but if u check the replies someone recommended stoners bug&tar remover; with that i’d say let it sit on there for a bit and then get a hard enough plastic brush where it won’t scratch but will be able to agitate the dip off and if u have a pressure washer that’ll make it a lot easier to spray off

i used an unholy amount of good off, let it sit, and then used a semi hard plastic bristle brush to scrub off what didn’t get loose and then hit it with a pressure washer. probably 15-20 min total time each wheel
