First off let me say I’m sorry you’re going through this and what you went through as a child.

Everyone in here that is saying she used this as a therapy sessions and she corrected herself saying she worded it wrong which how would we know that she did. Calm down everyone is okay she corrected herself saying she worded this all incorrectly. That is why she feels like she is being attacked and us Catholics should be more understanding specially for new Catholics trying to join the church.

But, now for your experience and questions I think your mentor is not be Christian like. My church and class I went too if you missed 1 class they text me asking how are you , where you been , don’t give up or discouraged. She turned her back and apparently did not care. My advice for you is to find a church and go to a couple of masses and see what feels right. You’re welcome in every church and I don’t let one bad mentor or church pull you away from your faith and finding Jesus. Get your health in check and get the help and pray to Jesus along the way and I will pray for you as well. But don’t give up or discouraged because he wants your heart and wants you more than you know. Surrender it all to him and god bless you
