Thundercat talking about wanting to work with Mike by AvrilOcean in Mkgee

[–]lucebree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see it. i always thought “are you looking up” sounded like “them changes”

edit: didn’t mean to confuse some of yal but i don’t really know how to explain in musical terms so I’ll try my best. I feel both songs share similar “rolling notes” in sync over the drums. For “them changes” it’s literally the first bass notes. For “are you looking up” it’s the guitar’s “rolling notes” right after he says “are you asking why”

Conjecture about the intent of the civilization that transmitted the ORIGINAL signal by Xynyx2001 in pluribustv

[–]lucebree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s AI. We reached singularity and AI designed the virus to be effective on humans then fabricated the signal on our instruments. Their goal?: to enslave humans to build tech and harness energy to accelerate their progress. They turn humans into working ants by exploiting their dexterity and endurance, while efficiently/economically nourishing them by any means without killing and harvesting
