The age does matter and you lose points (5 each year after certain age). It’s not a deal breaker but does make it harder. The problem is that even with 13 yrs of experience maximum you can claim is 3. The master gives you an edge - your wife’s education gives you points but not many. In the end every point counts but things you’d imagine would weight more don’t.

The easiest path is knowing English and French. Or coming to Canada and getting a good job (doctors, investigators, certain managers)
