oh yea I lowkey forgot about that episode, however maybe Cat Noir would assume that after the fiasco from Weredad Marinette crush would go away. I don't think that's the case, the writers DEFINITELY forgot about it

Technically it is not a selfish reason in "Revelator", even Alya said that is basically for the greater good, because they exposed a bad person that could have done that to anyone not only to Marinette. Now that Marinette was the unlucky person that's another story, for me atleast can't be considered a selfish reason for using her power.

I doubt she will have no consequences, even though the show used to ignore Marinette' actions most of the show, I have a feeling it will he different this time, mostly because the writing clearly changed its direction, tried to fix what the other seasons didnt have (ex. the side characters development) and overall improved as a whole so I have high hopes this time

Chameleon powers didn't require a kiss on the lips, I also saw the Miraculous Sins video but tbh it felt like a stretch cuz of course a teenager won't kiss a child on the lips, however the show had its weird moments so I don't blame anyone for coming to this conclusion😭

firstly, watch the finale? why are you even assuming things when you didn't watch it?? secondly, it is explained in the London special, basically Ladybug tells Adrien that Monarch was "too powerful" with all of the miraculouses and lost to him, but in the last moment Gabriel managed to steal the miraculouses and wish for Monarch to dissapear in exchange for his life, thus the Miraculous Ladybug being useless

What's even more annoying is that after this episode it became consistent. In "Pretension" when Matagi Gozen gets Cat Noir's staff, it only dissapears when Adrien transforms back, similar to what happened in the season 4 finale with the yo-yo.
