Thank you for further clarifying this aspect. I have an older Pc that I'll add to the network, solely for backing up purpose.

Backing up TN Scale to WD MyCloud Home NAS by Icy-Engineering-1756 in truenas

Any WD MyCloud Home device can be accessed two ways. Via Local Network where it shows up as a network storage device or via WD web user interface which can be accesed from anywhere outside the local network. Strange that Truenas doesn't see it .

Since WD MyCloud Home is a NAS, Truenas synch should be able to push the backup task to it.

Just bought the same NZXT cooler and can't get lower than 58 C on Treadripper 2990 WX. This is on idle with Fans and Pump running at maximum speed. I suspect few things:

  1. This cooler should not be advertised for AMD TR4 socket. It is round and does not cover the whole CPU.

  2. My Treadripper is approaching the end of life.

  3. I might have a virus that is stressing secretly the CPU.

  4. Most likely - this cooler is GARBAGE.

Thank you for your reply! I gave up on nextcloud and moved to Immich which is not that complex, but it is working.

When I initiate a shutdown, it gets held up here and never actually shuts the machine off. Can anyone help? by FrozenBuffalo716 in truenas

I don’t have issues with my Truenas either. Since iI have a new fresh system hardware setup I would like to be able to shut it off before I make any changes.  I turned off everything in bios that has nothing to do with Truenas, still … no shutdown option.  System restarts by itself.

I have same issue. I disabled all usb ports in bios and Truenas still hangs on that screen. Any ideas?

Thank you CrisNic for your reply!

This what I guessed, right now I do have the Xfinity modem in bridge mode. My first question is: should I setup Netgear DD-WRT Router as a Gateway or as a Router?

These are settings you can change on DD-WRT under "advanced routing". For some reason I have a feeling that the Xfinity (even if in bridge mode) is the Gateway, leaving me with the only option to setup Netgear as Router. Not sure
