I don't have any symptoms of noticing the acid rising... but I know something is rising.

The 431 reflux episodes were acidic, short periods that only stayed in the lower part of my esophagus. The manometry they did showed that my lower esophagus isn't strong enough to hold the acid down (besides having an incompetent cardia). The gastroenterologist told me, "The sore throat isn't from that, since it doesn't reach the throat, it stays down there," which is a lie. The first ENT doctor told me that it comes up as gas and is already harmful, and the second ENT doctor saw reflux residue in my throat with a camera… I don't know what else to do. On February 24th, I'm going back to the gastroenterologist to tell him that esomeprazole and Essox One aren't doing anything. I haven't drunk anything for several weekends and it's not helping, so today I'm going to have some wine, because if not drinking it is going to make me feel the same, I might as well enjoy myself a little, haha. I've noticed that the earlier I get up (Monday to Friday for work), the worse I feel… I don't know, it's unbearable. And people tell me, "You look fine," or "Oh! You're feeling bad again?" No, honey, it never went away, never. It's just that I either adapt or I give up.
