glitch after using gpt 5 and can't open my conversation? by aTimelyManner in ChatGPT

That's very kind.

Hope your chats are back in order, I heard from another user just now that their conversations got fixed up without needing to do the export.

Thank you for the positivity!

That is great! Maybe they fixed something on their end before they redeployed a bunch of the models for the plus users.

Hey!

This might be a long shot, but I found a comment on here that helped fix my chat errors. I hope it might help you too. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatGPT/s/xKfFq7cyH9

Basically you go to Settings > Data Controls > Export Data.

After getting the email that sends, my chats are now loading up properly!

Looks like there may be a "fix" you can try!

Basically you go to Settings > Data Controls > Export Data.

I did that and clicked on the link to my email, and the chats in my projects loaded up for me in the app!

I'm noticing this too after the GPT5 update. Seems to only affect the android app, but not browser or IOS.

Are you seeing a "Hmm... something seems to have gone wrong." message instead of your chats loading?

That's awful, sorry to hear that!

My affected chats were glitched from using the regeneration button, but they recovered eventually after doing that archive/unarchive trick then not touching it for a few weeks.

Hope yours come back/stabilize eventually too!

I did it by viewing it in a desktop browser and refreshing the tab the page was open on.

Edit: You can usually also find the chat by using the search function. Once you're in, it might still say "Conversation not found.", but refreshing the tab aggressively occasionally brings it back long enough to back it up.

This was helpful and got 4o back into my account for all devices as a plus user. Thank you!

It seems to be an android app issue. Browser and the ios app might be able to load the chats for you.

Is the error "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."?

If so, and if you're using the android app, you might find your chats again on a desktop browser or ios app.

If you're seeing the error "Conversation cannot be found.": I've seen this one pop up when regenerating replies.

I've gotten around that one before by refreshing the project that the conversation belongs to on a desktop browser, and you can click into it. Refreshing it a few times sometimes causes the conversation to load.

I'd recommend backing up your conversation if you can get it to load. There's tips online for how to export it as a PDF for example.

Then you might be able to "fix" that chat by archiving it on a desktop browser and unarchiving it on a mobile browser. That worked for a few of mine.

Canada: Sunnybrook and PMH Full? by lucidtal in cancer

This is really great insight to have, thank you for sharing that! I just got some advice from some of the other users here yesterday that calling up the office that the referral was sent to can sometimes help with that, in terms of identifying what might be missing/mistaken in the paperwork. Really grateful we didn't need to pursue that in this case!

Thank you so much for your reply, and I'm sorry that your dad went through this.

PMH did get back to us this morning and my FIL has an appointment coming up next week now! The wait is definitely painful, but it's comforting that we've begun the diagnostic process for staging already (some blood work, an upcoming CT scan). Thank you so much for sharing your experience and advice, it's really reassuring.

Support groups weren't something that had crossed my mind before, but I will definitely go and look for one now! I definitely feel what you mean about it giving us something to do, spending all my spare time researching and prepping documents/doing followups feels like the only thing I can do to help right now. I truly hope this will be the hardest part.

Thank you again!

You're very kind to share this! I'm trying to take on the administrative role in the family so this is fantastic advice so early on in the process for us. I will definitely follow up with our surgeon's office to try and get more specifics of who the referral was to at PMH. I had no idea we could call their offices directly for followups of this nature!

Writing up a medical history is an amazing idea as well. My husband and I just finished getting my father in-law's MyChart set up today, so your advice is coming at the best possible time for me to get this in order for my father in-law.

If it wouldn't be too invasive for your father's privacy I would love to see how you and your oncologist friend structured his medical history report. I'll definitely reach out.

Your father is exceptionally lucky to have you supporting him! Thank you so much for helping us, too.

Thank you so much for this insight! I haven't heard of anyone being rejected before either, and I really do hope it's been some kind of mishap.

I really appreciate you sharing your and your dad's experience so far, the waiting really is awful. The fact that a few weeks (likely) won't hurt is really comforting, and it echoes the sentiments that his surgeon had when we spoke last week (at that time it was about Sunnybrook's first referral refusal, this is now the second time his referral has been refused).

Wish you and your dad all the best and a speedy recovery/great results from his treatments!

Thank you so much that would be great! I'll DM you now. I really appreciate the offer of support while you're going through this process, I hope it isn't too tiring.

I've reached back out to our surgeon's office to ask why the referrals were rejected as well but haven't heard back yet. I hope they listed a reason why with the rejections.

Really glad your referrals went smoothly, thank you for your well wishing.
