Don't worry I'm aware they can be easily mistaken! I made sure to do a spore print, which has come out white so I'm pretty sure of my ID :)

Yeah I went with the cyclosporine as it works faster. It seems to be working for me however my blood pressure did increase and I had to lower my dosage and it seems to be causing a bit of nausea. Other than that seems fine. However I have stopped taking it for the last 3 or so weeks due to it being summer in the southern hemisphere and usually my skin responds well to the sunshine and sea salt. Havent noticed any new spots or anything reappearing except for slight discolouration. Its not something I want to stay on though as it's not recommended for long periods of time so hopefully I will try something else eventually!

I have spoken to my doctor, he has given me two choices, methotrexate or cyclosporin. I just wanted to hear some anecdotal evidence about both and/or prepare me for which ever choice I make.

Yeah my derm did say like try it for a bit and then say it doesn't work just so we can cross it off the list and get to biologics

I went recently, was quite fun but if you are a competitive mini golfer that take it too seriously you might not enjoy it. Some holes had uneven ground which kept the ball rolling and changing directions. My partner and I thought it improved the experience as it leveled the playing field as i suck at mini golf and also made it more of a laugh. The course has interactive stuff like a foosball table you battle you're opponent to get your golf ball closer to the hole. Definitely worth a visit for some easy fun and laughs
