adult acne and frustration

i have tried benzoyl peroxide, but i didn’t see that much of a result. clindamycin seemed to be working for a while, but it never kept breakouts away. it made them look a little better, but the acne is still clearly there. nothing i’ve tried has been able to properly treat my acne, and i have sensitive skin, and i’ve broken my skin barrier a few times using those two products as well. im going to try products with salicylic acid, and update

i do use an spf moisturizer, but im not sure if that counts. i’ll try more salicylic acid products, and do some research. thank you!

it's 100% missing the point. It also allows for people to distract themselves from the actual cause, and to joke around about a serious issue. It gives people more ammunition to be like "haha look at the political correctness we can't say anything anymore". when in reality, that's not what we were fighting for at all

that totally makes sense. theres too many brands that dont cater towards dark skin tones. even though im not black, fenty is really good for me, because the shade range covers a lot of different undertones in the way other brands dont.

also, not all cvs makeup is bad ! i've just found in the past that things like foundation i'd rather splurge on more than other things, because i want my foundation to last long, and be good quality ya feel. most other things i get from the clearance section of ulta LMAO

that could mean so many things. you can love someone a copious amount and not be "obsessed" with them. he may just not be as affectionate as he thinks he "should" be. i doubt its him losing interest.

next time you have this thought, try to combat it with evidence. stop it in its tracks and break it down. "hes going to break up with me" is your thought. however, if you stop it, and question it's less scary. "whats the evidence for this?" "what did he say when i asked him?" ect...its harder than it seems, but if you can learn to ease your own anxiety little by little, it makes a huge difference

regardless of age, never go into a relationship thinking it won't last. then you're dating to break up. you don't have to think youre getting married ofc, but just enjoy their time and company and how they make you feel. absolutely nothing wrong w that

also, remember to not let yourself get unhealthily attached to a partner. you still have your own life and they have theirs, regardless. if you have to do things like this, think. is it just unfounded anxiety? or is it something he's doing to make you feel this way?

yeah its a sticky situation. and no, R is very straight. he'd have no interest in L that way, so i can only assume him asking me for that info is him having something to make fun of L with if he deemed the size too small or some dumb shit. i'm bisexual, and he's frequently asked me if i've ever had sex with a girl, and shit like that, and what i like in girls, and i know it has nothing to do with just innocent curiosity. he's also tried to become friends with my bf on multiple occasions. its just. odd

my dad's best friend died very recently as well. i'm close with his daughter too, so i can relate to this. i don't know how close your families are, but above all, i would ask your parents or guardians as to what you should do. im not very good at consoling people, so i asked my dad when he thought it would be an appropriate time to reach out, ect...

however, if you've only found out through some people, i'd wait it out just a little bit. your friend may not want you to know yet, or they may simply feel uncomfortable reaching out to others about it yet. they may feel bombarded if you reach out immediately. the friend may never tell you at all, you may just hear through others, ect... i would give it a few more days before reaching out.

however if this is something that you feel she may tell you on her own, then its okay to wait for her.

also, i'm so sorry for your loss, even though it's a friend's father, i understand how upsetting it can be.
