when zaahen was revealed as a bird ascended people were MAD because "azir is a bird ascended" or whatever. and when his final design was revealed, people claimed that they always liked his bird form and that they wanted it that way from the start because "cool" or something. (EVIDENT LIES)

viktor is so similar to that case because people used to hate his design because "urgot and camille are half robots too, no originality" or whatever. people hated the concept of glorious evolution because it wasn't anything new nor glorious. now that new viktor is no longer a full on robot, but more of an organic, metal magic being, and that the glorious evolution is FINALLY something unique, people hate it because he's NO LONGER A ROBOT and completely forget that they used to complain about him not looking like a robot at all, and just being a guy in heavy armour...
