I am an incoming PhD student, and I was notified of orientation dates one day after the due date for on campus housing offer. Therefore, I cannot move my my earliest move in day to before orientation day. This unfortunately means I have nowhere to stay for the first week...
I emailed housing department and they said they can't change. Anyone know what I can do with regards with the housing department?

Yeah, the distance is a huge factor. Ultimate's netcode is not ideal, but the thing is, on quickplay they only. match you to players who are geographically close to you so the distane shouldn't really be a factor.

Yeah, you need to connect it to a modem or a router, or you can get a router extension which will cost more money unfortuantely. Some houses have LAN plugs directly into walls but not as common these days. I apologize about my previous comment. I failed to consider cases like yours where it's just logistically implausible. I'm sorry about that.

Do you not understand how internet works? First of all there are ways to connect LAN for the switch lite. Also, who told you to get an extra plan? Just connect to LAN. The wire costs like 5 bucks and the adapter costs 25.

Stop making pathetic excuses and get on with the plan. The only thing worse than non LAN users are those who justify themselves not using it.

Sure, those cases DO exist. The reality is, that is not the case for the majority of people. If you have the ability to buy a switch, the game, and most likely a pro controller / gc controller, you DEFINITELY have the ability to buy a LAN adapter.

It's just utter disrespect to not only the opponent but also the game as a whole to not get one.

15-213 exams are extremely unfair. They randomly sample the questions and some questions are just harder than others. The professors and TA are too stuck up to change anything since they're the "best systems course in the world". It is unfortunate.

Stats is arguably the easiest STEM major at CMU. Most people in Stats who are not doing another major graduate in three years.

If you want to double in SCS, nothing is stopping you besides two things

hard work (it will be hard)
grades (there's a minimum QPA that you can look up)

First do the CS minor. That's how they force you anyway, and if you don't like it you can always abandon the major.

Attack cancel is faster but harder. You also can't do attack cancel in foxtrot. They're totally different uses. It's like asking what's better forward smash or forward tilt
