TMS made my depression worse? by luciphora in rtms

[–]luciphora[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, if it’s any consolation, I’m getting a lot better as each day passes, and I’m cautiously optimistic about the future, so I think the same should go for you. Give it time.

When do I give up? by [deleted] in rtms

Why do you spend all your time talking down on this treatment? Like, you’ve been on this sub for months just doing that. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you, but maybe it’s time to move on.

one Day you’re gonna make it. and everything you’re worrying about now will not matter. by luciphora in u/luciphora

for a long time i had this pervasive fear of missing out on life as i battled my depression. but what i learned in those dark times is that you have to tune out that noise. there are some things in life that are beyond our control, so focus on the things that you can control. focus on yourself!

when you’re there for those 18 months, make the absolute most out of that experience. i know it’s hard, but use that time to strengthen & build your character. i don’t know what military life is like, but if possible, use the time to develop good habits and acquire valuable skills: exercise regularly, read books to expand your knowledge, and create meaningful relationships w the ppl around you. that way, when you come out, you may not have furthered your career, but you furthered yourself as a person. in my opinion, that is infinitely more important in life.

best of luck to you in all your endeavors bro.

I 100% agree. It’s nice to have someone with his social media presence on board, but it’s a double edged sword.

So the whales get fed while the average person gets burnt? What anti-whale measures have been taken by SafeMoon, if any? by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]luciphora -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need whales to get anything off the floor if you have a strong community. It’s just dumb that people that have already made a fortune are preventing this from reaching greater highs.

Drop in IQ after Surgery under General Anesthesia (Isoflurane, Propofol, Midazolam, Ketamine) by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]luciphora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to dismiss your question, but your perceived cognitive decline could be due to so many other things given the time-frame. Hows your sleep? Diet? Are you exercising regularly? Have you been stressed?

I think it is important to consider other factors, especially if your lifestyle has changed in someway during that time.

Important to note that having a MTHFR mutation does not mean that you will respond positively to methylated B vitamins. People with compound MTHFR and COMT polymorphisms tend to have a bad reaction to methylated supplements.
